Changing the dragon out for all the big monsters is probably the most exciting part about this expansion, and it's so fun that I honestly would recommend this expansion just for that. I also heavily enjoyed the new pillars and the items to help with durability. There is a lot of content here, some of which I might not use that often, but I definitely feel like I strongly prefer the expanded version over base game. This is really cool!
I was a bit concerned about adding this expansion, because I loved the simplicity of the plain vanilla Dungeon Drop… but I needn’t have worried. It integrates very easily, adds great new functionality (without complicating the core-game very much), and definitely adds to the experience. If you like the original, you’ll probably be very happy with your purchase. I definitely recommend it.
definitely recommended, adds a lot of content to the base game
Haven't played with it yet, but all the cards and new peices are just as high quality as the base game. Love the little faces on the cubes.
played it several times and have been enjoying myself.
