Fantastic Game! (I’ve purchased three!)

I was a big RPG player in the 80’s, but about a year ago I kind of returned to my roots and started obsessively collecting (and playing) RPGs and board games. I’ve got dozens of them.
I say this because I want to qualify the next thing I’m going to say: of all of the dozens of games I have played (some of which cost hundreds of dollars) this simple and cheap game is genuinely one of the coolest and most fun-to-play games I’ve ever played. This is largely because of the very simple and quick set-up, and the short time it takes to learn and to play. This may not appeal to everyone, but for me it’s just such a refreshing change of pace from the games I’ve typically played which take 20 minutes to set up, and hours to play. (Not to mention huge rule-books.)
I really like the solo mode, and it’s entirely appropriate for almost any age from young to old.
The only real drawback is that it requires a fair amount of table-space, and pieces could potentially be easy to lose, if you aren’t careful.
It really is a fun game though, and I highly recommend it as a family game, or party-game for 1-4 players (5, if you get the Wizard Spells expansion).
If you enjoy it, I definitely suggest you get the “Dropped Too Deep” expansion. It adds some great new features (yet retains the slick simplicity which makes it great).
The playmats and walls are also nice, and worth considering. (I did buy the walls, although they aren’t seen here in my photo, because I gifted them to someone, and need to repurchase them again, for my own self). Obviously you can make your own walls, but they aren’t seen convenient and provide a nice, consistently-sized and easily storable boundary for your game-area.
Anyway I’ll quit rambling, but bottom-line is buy it. It’s worth three times the price.

Fun game, tiny components

The game is really cool and innovative, but I have already lost a piece because these 8mm cubes bounce just about everywhere when you drop them on a hardwood countertop. I need to play this game in very clean environments so I can easily relocate a piece if it lands under something on the table, which is not a problem I have with other games.

Just a fun and simple game for everyone to enjoy and the deluxe version with added faces makes it adorable and easier to spot the enemies. Would recommend for a simple fun game night.

Great game highly recommend, along with all the expansions you can get your hands on. Game rounds are short and move fast, but with a deck of characters and goals to choose blindly from your game playing experience is always changing.
