Phase Shift Games Partners with Next Tabletop for Global Localization

Phase Shift Games is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Next Tabletop, the industry’s premier specialist in board game translation and localization. Effective immediately, Next Tabletop—owned by industry veterans Derek Funkhouser and David Lockwood—will represent Phase Shift’s entire portfolio for worldwide non-English localization, dramatically expanding the reach of our innovative titles.

Next Tabletop’s dedicated focus on helping publishers localize games for international markets makes them the perfect partner for Phase Shift’s growing catalog. The initial emphasis will be on German and central European languages, but the partnership opens the door for our games to reach players in regions and languages across the globe.

Featured titles in this partnership include Dungeon Drop, Drop Drive, Aetherspire, and Widget’s Workshop, with the entire Phase Shift Games catalog available for localization.

“I am super excited to be joining forces with David Lockwood again, as well as with Derek and the rest of the rock-star team at Next Tabletop!” said Jason Miceli, owner of Phase Shift Games. “Their dedicated focus on localization is exactly what indie publishers like us need to bring our games to new audiences.”

Work on initial projects will begin immediately, with more details to follow as localization efforts progress.
